For two years, Fiona produced a recurring segment on her high school’s weekly TV show

The above segment is an interview she did with Molly Busis, a multi-talented artist with skills in music and the fine arts. Fiona directed, shot, and edited this segment and was awarded a Student Emmy® for her work.

She called the segment “Baron Artists” as her school mascot was a Baron. She was showcasing the wide variety of often-overlooked artists at her school.

Since she graduated in 2020, the show has continued to produce Baron Artist segments every week highlighting a new generation of artists. Fiona is proud to say she’s left a legacy behind at her school, highlighting the impact of young people in the arts, and the power of having a strong community behind them.

She was fortunate to be recognized by the Capital Student Emmys, winning the Short Form: Non-Fiction award category at the Capital Emmys 2019 Student Production Awards.

To the left is the segment she won the Student Emmy for, and below is a YouTube playlist of every Baron Artist, also known as “Bartist”, segment she ever made.
